Task & Solution
- The special rotary distributor ROB000615 and our tool changer WWR160F/L-B are flange-mounted to the Fanuc M900 iB 280L robot, which loads the bending press with steel plate blanks.
- The steel plates are fixed with a vacuum suction cup, precisely referenced in a fixture and then fed into the press.
- Thanks to the electrical and pneumatic transfer via the rotary distributor, the steel plates can be rotated 360° in the press, aligned and corrected as required during the bending process.
- To monitor the process, the rotary distributor transmits various signals at the end effector to the control system.
- In the bending press, the steel plates are turned into the basic body for a snow blade.
